Giselle. Photo by Judy Cameron. R.I.P. Natalia Bessmertnova died in Moscow on February 19th 2008 after long illness. She was only 66 years old. A Farewell ceremony will be held in the Bolshoi Theatre Atrium on Friday 22nd at 11.00. She will be buried at the Novodevichu Cemetry in Moscow, which now is used for only the most symbolically significant burials. Ulanova, Stanislavski, Chekov, Gogol, Prokofiev, Shostakovich are among those buried here. No words can express how deeply she is missed!
