Tatiana Terekhova was born in Leningrad in 1952. She studied at the Vaganova School (class of E. Sharipina). Joined the Mariinsky Ballet in 1970. Strong, technical dancer with high jumps and great authority on stage.

Repertoire includes:
Gamzatti (La Bayadère), Laurentia, Myrtha (Giselle), Kitri (Don Quixote), Aurora (Sleeping Beauty), Medora (Le Corsaire), Odette-Odile (Swan Lake), Giselle, La Sylphide, Raymonda, Shirin (Legend of Love), Queen of the Copper Mountain (Stone Flower).

Awards:
People's Artist of the RSFSR in 1983
