Christina L. Olsen was born in Denmark in 1984. She trained with the Ballet School of the Royal Theatre in Copenhagen. She became an apprentice in 2001, and in 2003 she was engaged as a dancer in corps de ballet by the Royal Danish Ballet.
She made her debut in the title role of La Sylphide in November 2006. Her other roles include First sylph in La Sylphide, pas de cinq in Abdallah, the cadet Poul in Far from Denmark, pas de trois in The King's Volunteers of Amager, Helena and Emilia in Romeo and Juliet and soloist role in Requiem. She has also danced in Etudes, Tchaikovsky 2nd Piano Concerto, Vers un Pays Sage, Sleeping Beauty and Serenade.
